For Rent!!! Garages Moving Forward!!!!!As some of you have asked, it is time to announce garage space availability in the coming months. Lets have a bit of a discussion on the garages themselves, and how they will be allocated. The designs will have to remain confidential with us for now, so no pics, hope you understand. We will be building either 12 or 14 garage “bays” spread over two buildings. Each bay should be approximately 1,000 sq feet, and hold four full size autos. They will have a 15” roll up door, and one man door. Walls are 16 feet in height, so lifts are easily installed, as is a Mezzanine for spare parts etc if you desire. Any and all improvements made to the garage structure shall remain the property of The Ridge, and if, for instance, you install a lift, of course you can have the lift when you leave, but you must repair the floor. The maxim of leaving it better than when you arrived applies here.
Floor dimensions per bay will be 36’ deep by 28’ feet wide. These are approximate, so don’t hold us to it. The walls will be insulated, and power to each stall. Not sure at this time on heat, we may have to use ceramic electric heaters in each bay for the time being. We hope to have compressed air supplied to each bay, but I think that will come next year. Now then, on to allocation of the garages.
We, in all of our endeavors, seek to be fair to our customers as well as the facility. A number of you have contacted us in the past regarding garages, and we will honor the order in which they came. For people whom are reading about the garages for the first time here, use the link below to express interest, and we will shortly send you the lease package and dimensions of the finished garages. Please remember, we cannot commit to an exact day the garage complex will be completed, but it will be before October of this year.
If we get a rush of requests, distance will be the deciding factor. We have a whole host of wonderful Canadian customers, who, frankly, have to put up with such a hassle driving across borders, that we will give them a priority slot, particularly those on Vancouver Island. We also have some customers whom travel a fair distance from Montana, Idaho, and Northern California and southern Oregon. These folks will be given a priority as well. We are not making these exclusive, please do not misunderstand, we will continue to build garages until the market demand is met. However, this first phase, two buildings with 12-14 garages in total is what we contemplate, as we build towers and bathrooms at the same time. Final location on the garages relative to the pit and track entrance are being considered now.
