WMRRA - The "First Race" at The Ridge!
THE FIRST!!!!!There can only be one "first".
Fist born, first in line, fist kiss, well, you get it.
Yesterday, Saturday, May 26th, 2012, The Ridge Motorsports Park has its first official track record!
Eli Edwards, riding a 2009 Yamaha R6, turned a 1.41.385 Lap time during the 600 Super Sport Class. Not only is this historic for us, we hope it sets the bar for others to look towards. Eli is fast, smooth, and really, a true gentleman. We could not ask for a finer ambassador to hold the first ever track record. Now it may be that today, Sunday, May 27th, 2012, in the second day of racing, the WMRRA racers will set an even faster pace, but you can only have one first track record.
You need not set a track record, nor win a race. But look to be the first at something, such as first to give to your neighbor in need, first to open a door for someone, first to smile in the morning. We are grateful, and blessed, to be able to build the first track in the Western Part of Washington in quite some time. Your first at something too, just give it some thought. And you too will realize your blessed. As are we at The Ridge for having you be part of the team.
