MEDIA CREDENTIALS
The Ridge Motorsports Park is dedicated to providing members of the media with the best information to assist you in planning your coverage of events and will help ensure a positive track experience. Freelance journalists, photojournalists, and videographers may only receive a credential if on a specific assignment from a professionally recognized organization that is covering a specific event or pre-approved by the Ridge Motorsports Park. Individual social pages, websites or accounts managed by freelancers that are designed for profit do not classify as a media organization.
Requests must be submitted via the online request application forms by the editor, sports editor, sports director, or sports producer. Credentials will be issued to the authorized personnel only for the purpose of providing timely coverage of the event.
All applications will be carefully reviewed and the applicable event sanctioning body with regards to broadcast (radio & television) licensing and agreements that will be in place for each event. Efforts will be made to honor all requests, but the track and sanctioning body reserve the right to change or deny any media requests. Misuse of credentials may result in revocation and/or fine. All credential holders must sign the Media waiver and agree to the terms and conditions.
Photographers with a Ridge Motorsports Park credential will have access beyond the spectator fencing. This access is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of coverage by a particular media outlet and is not guaranteed for every request. Photographers will receive guidelines and instructions during regular photo meetings regarding access. Any photographer in violation of the photography rules will be warned once, a second infraction will result in credentials being revoked.
Photos and videos cannot be used for commercial or retail purposes without the express written permission by the visiting series and/or the Ridge Motorsports Park. Commercial exploitation of any Ridge event and/or its participants is strictly prohibited without prior consent. The Ridge Motorsports Park has rights to all images and videos taken at the facility. By applying for a Media credential, you agree to share all images/videos taken at the Ridge. Ridge Motorsports Park may use the content collected for Marketing and Promotional content and will give media credit when appropriate.
RIDGE MOTORPSORTS PARK RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVOKE THE CREDENTIAL OF ANY INDIVIDUAL AT ANY TIME AND FOR ANY REASON. MISUSE OF CREDENTIALS MAY RESULT IN REVOCATION AND REMOVAL FROM THE PREMISES. ALL CREDENTIAL HOLDERS MUST SIGN THE WAIVER AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WITH A STAFF MEMBER PRESENT. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO RECEIVE A CREDENTIAL.
