Line Cook Part Time/Seasonal Pay: $18/hour + Tips


The Ridge Motorsports Park is looking for a key individual that has the drive and passion to lead the Ridge Café and Catering services for the Ridge Performance Center. As the facility has expanded, the Ridge is looking for a Line Cook who is able to grow the culinary program. This individual would assist all kitchen and catering processes, and work with the team to grow the department. The ideal candidate will have a passion helping create a team, focused on customer service and high-end food quality.


The Ridge Line Cook will have an opportunity to lay the foundation for a great environment for staff and guests at the Ridge Motorsports Park while growing their career in a creative and unique environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.

- Prepare ingredients/foods for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).

- Cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes.

- Work with ovens, flat top griddles, broilers, fryers, warmers, steamers, and other kitchen equipment.

- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

- Garnish each dish properly.

- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area around tables, shelves, steamer, microwave, oven, flat top griddles, and refrigeration/freezer equipment both during and after service.

- Clean up station and properly store leftover food.

- Stock inventory appropriately.

- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.

- Assumes responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation and timeliness of products served.

- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

- Report to the Manager and follow instructions.

Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.

- Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep cost within forecasted range.

- Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards.

- Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products.

- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.


- Previous experience working as a Line Cook (or similar).

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Self-motivated and is able to multi-task.

- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.

- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

- Ability to perform and execute tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.

- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, and lift/carry heavy materials.


About the Company: Ridge Motorsports Park is a multi-surface motorsports facility that consists of a 2.47-mile Road Course, Grand Prix Go Karting Track, and Drifting/Autocross surfaces. Our facility has tripled our events in the last year going from 149 to over 400 events.
